The races that are scheduled on August 6th for Sportsman and UCAR's will be considered points races and will count as such. The races that are scheduled on August 7th for Mod-4's and Super Street will be considered points races also and will count as such. All races that are scheduled and we are able to complete for the remainder of the season will be counted to determine the championship for the individual classes. In the event that we must cancelled or reschedule a race, we intend to count those as well.
All restart line-ups will be determined by the ‘CONE-STYLE’ restart.
Initial restart line-ups will be determined by the last completed green flag lap. Cars involved in the caution shall fall to the back of the field and will be lined up prior to the cone selection based on whether are on the lead lap or down at least one lap as directed by the official working with their spotters. The Lucky Dog will be determined and will be lined up as the last car on the lead lap. All cars that are one lap or more down will be realigned behind the last car on the lead lap at the end of the longest line, AND WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THE CONE.
When the one-to-go signal is given, a cone will be placed at the start/finish line. When the driver reaches the cone, the driver must decide which lane he/she wants to restart in, and will proceed either to the inside or the outside of the cone. When a driver passes the cone, either to the inside or the outside, this is the lane the driver will restart in. Once lane choice has been made it must not be changed.
The flagman will be in charge of all starts and restarts.
LUCKY DOG/CONSECUTIVE WINS POLICY:
Lucky Dog Rule:
Lucky Dog will apply to all divisions. Lucky Dog will be awarded to the 1st car one lap down at the time of the caution.
All lapped cars will move to the rear on restarts (no pulling up). If you spin out, are involved in, or cause a caution you will not be eligible for the Lucky Dog.
Consecutive Wins Policy:
Any driver that wins TWO consecutive races can start no better than 10th in their next race. Any driver that wins three consecutive races or more can start no better than last in their next race.
Mod-4 and UCAR competitors will be required to add twenty-five pounds (25 lbs) to their car weight for the next race after their second consecutive win with an additional twenty-five pounds (25 lbs) added for each consecutive win thereafter. Car weight may be adjusted back in increments of twenty-five pounds (25 lbs) for each week that the competitor does not win again until the weight reaches the original weight.
Competitors MUST qualify, and will be eligible for any posted awards.
RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR TWINS:
Starting positions for the first race will be determined by the fastest lap in second practice or individual car qualifying with numbers drawn afterwards to determine final starting position for inversion. There will be a mandatory inversion of the 8 cars for the second race based on the finishing order of the first race. A competitor must complete one half of the laps of the first race or have mechanical issues to compete in the second race.
MECHANICAL EXCEPTION FOR TWINS:
A competitor that experiences mechanical issues that prevents that competitor from competing in the first race of the twins will be allowed to participate in the second race if the mechanical issues can be resolved prior to its start. Such competitors must start last in the lineup and use four scuff tires that are from their impounded scuff tires or select tires from the scuff pile.
Applicable to all classes except Late Model Stock Cars. Refer to 2021 NASCAR rulebook for Late Model Stock Car procedures.
If a caution occurs after the leader has taken the white flag in a race that would have ended when the leader came back to the start/finish line for the advertised distance of a race, the field will be realigned by the last completed green flag lap with the exception of the cars involved in the caution. Restarting positions of all cars involved in the caution will be determined based upon the order that those cars left the accident scene after their involvement in the caution and they will be aligned at the back of the field. Following this realignment, the first attempt at a Green-White-Checkered finish will be made.
There will be a maximum of (3) attempts at a Green-White-Checkered finish. if the caution is displayed during the first (2) attempts prior to the white flag lap, the field will be realigned by the last completed green flag lap with the exception of the cars involved in the caution. Restarting positions of all cars involved in the caution will be determined based upon the order that those cars left the accident scene after their involvement in the caution and they will be aligned at the back of the field.
If the caution is displayed during the white flag lap of the first or second attempt at a green-white checkered, the cars will be aligned per the last green flag lap with the exception of the cars involved in the caution. Restarting positions of all cars involved in the caution will be determined based upon the order that those cars left the accident scene after their involvement in the caution and they will be aligned at the back of the field.
If the caution is displayed at any time during the third and final attempt at a green-white-checkered, THE RACE WILL BE OVER and the race order will be frozen with the cars involved in the caution placed at the end of their completed lap line.
QUALIFYING & INVERSION PROCEDURES:
Starting position will be determined by the fastest lap in the second practice session or during single car qualifying. Tires Used in second practice session or single car qualifying will be marked and MUST be used for the race.
A mandatory draw for starting positions will occur once the second practice and qualifying is completed. The draw will include the top eight cars for the late model class, the top six cars for the sportsman class, the top five cars for the super street class, the top five cars for the mod-4 class and the top five cars for the UCAR class. Drawings will be held to determine the starting position beginning with the first qualifier being drawn first and then the remaining positions drawn in order of their qualifying position. The remainder of the field will follow in the order in which they qualified.
In the event inclement weather shortens the second practice session, drivers who have yet to post a time will revert to their fastest lap in the first practice session.
