MEDIA CREDENTIALS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

 

Motor Mile Speedway & Dragway welcomes media coverage from all established media outlets. Members of the media interested in attending events at Motor Mile Speedway & Dragway are encouraged to request credentials through the process outlined below.

 

Motor Mile Speedway:

 

Eligibility:

Motor Mile Speedway will review all credential requests. Credentials will be issued to recognized newspapers, news services, racing publications and other legitimate digital and print media outlets. Freelance journalists will be considered on an individual basis. Motor Mile Speedway reserves the right to deny a media request and to change or nullify credentials at any time.

 

To Apply:

Members of the media requesting credentials must send a Letter of Request to jwmartin@motormilespeedway.com no later than the Thursday prior to the event. Late requests will not be considered. All requests must specify the following:

 

  • Name of the individual utilizing credentials

  • Name of the company individual is representing

  • The capacity in which individual will be covering event (Online Live-Stream / Newspaper Reporting / Television Coverage / Photography / Etc.)

  • Deadline for individual

  • Whether or not individual will need Motor Mile Speedway to provide internet access

 

If more than one set of credentials is needed per media outlet, please follow the same above specifications for each individual.

 

For members of the media anticipating coverage of multiple events in a single season, please note that requests must be issued for each event individually.

 

All credentials are non-transferrable and any unauthorized use will subject the bearer to confiscation of the credentials.

Procedures:

Credentials may be picked up at Will-Call, located at the ticket booth. Parking for members of the media will be located in the Driver’s Lot located outside Turn 1.

 

To gain access into the pit area, credentialed members of the media will be required to sign-in at the Sign-In Booth to receive an armband. The Sign-In Booth is located outside the Turn 1 Gate.

 

Motor Mile Speedway has designated the Pine Ridge Tower to accommodate credentialed members of the media. Only individuals possessing Credentials will be permitted access to the Pine Ridge Tower. No Exceptions. Wireless internet will be provided to members of the media who specified need per the Letter of Request.

 

Motor Mile Dragway:

 

Eligibility:

Motor Mile Dragway will review all credential requests. Credentials will be issued to recognized newspapers, news services, racing publications and other legitimate digital and print media outlets. Freelance journalists will be considered on an individual basis. Motor Mile Dragway reserves the right to deny a media request and to change or nullify credentials at any time.

PLEASE NOTE: Currently, internet access at Motor Mile Dragway is not available.

Credentials can be picked up at the main ticket booth, located at the entrance to Motor Mile Dragway. There is no designated parking for members of the media.
