Winter Lights Carnival FAQ

When are you open?

Every day in December starting Dec. 2nd.

What are your hours?

Sunday thru Thursday we open at 5 and the last car to enter the show is 10pm with the lights going off at 11pm. Friday and Saturday night we open at 5 and the last car to enter the show is 11pm with the lights going off at midnight.

Carnival Hours Are:

Thursday 6-10

Friday 6-10

Saturday 3-10 (You can enter the grounds early to take part in the carnival before enjoying the lights on Saturday and Sunday)

Sunday 3-9

How much is it for my vehicle?

All passenger cars, trucks and SUV's are $20 Monday thru Thursday and $25 Friday thru Sunday.

Buses are $150 on any night.

Why should I buy a speed pass?

Our $30 Speed pass is a separate entrance that allows you to avoid any line at the main gate, Speed Pass must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance. Only 10 slots per hour for Speed Pass. These sell out often.

Is the petting zoo included?

Yes! The petting zoo is free with admission and open Thursday thru Sunday. The animals do sometimes change, but generally include:

2 Mini Ponies. one Mini Pig, 2-3 Goats and 2 baby goats, 2 Sheep, 2 Bunnies, one Chicken, one Duck, 2 Ferrets, 2 Dogs.

Is the Carnival included?

No, carnival rides are additional. The carnival wrist bands can be purchased in advance or purchased the night you are here at Santa's Village near the petting zoo. The rides are all inclusive and are sold for one hour @ $7 per person, 2 hours @ $10 per person and 4 hours @ $18 pp. Admission to the carnival area for parents is free, only riders must purchase a wrist band. Advance purchased wrist bands will still need to check in at the trailer in Santa's Village.

Can I enter and not pay admission for the car and only go to the carnival?

No, unfortunately we are set up at the main gate to take admission for every car entering. You can bypass the lights and go straight to the carnival and go to the lights later in the evening

What if it's cold?

We will have portable propane mushroom heaters on standby to keep you warm in line, the petting zoo and areas that people will be congregating.

Are Monster Truck Rides Included?

Monster Truck rides in our Abomination Monster Truck are not included they are $5.00 per person regardless of age. The Monster Truck rides can be purchased in advance or at the trailer in Santa's Village. The Monster Truck operates all nights weather permitting.

Does Santa ever visit?

He does! Santa stops in every Thursday thru Sunday from 6-9, you'll find him in his own secret Santa's hideaway with a real tree and a helper. Photos with Santa are $7.00 for the sitting fee and opportunity to take your own photo on your phone. We will also print a 5x7 photo which is available for purchase @ $5.00 each.

What about inclement weather?

The light show goes on rain or shine, we're even hoping for light flurries on a few nights! The petting zoo is mostly covered and heated and will be available as long as it is safe. The carnival runs as long as weather permits and it is safe to operate, as do Monster Truck rides.
